In Charge - Or Not
January 24, 2007
So my mother left about 20 minutes ago, and is offically on vacation. I really, really hope we behave ourselves for my dad, or else my mom might not be aloud to go on any more trips. I’m saying this because I can only behave myself if everyone else is behaving, meaning if they start being assholes to me for no reason then I will find it very difficult to restrain retaliation, but I promise to try.
I’ve already made up a chores list (which I smartly entitled “Uh Oh! Mom’s Gone!! Chores We Have To Do:“) and I’m on dish duty and pet duty (which consists of feeding the animals, cleaning up barf and dealing with the nasty cat box). In my opinion, I took the less popular jobs. I put Josephine on laundry and Kathrynn on vacuuming. Aren’t I a good sister? I’m hoping this week goes by smoothly, with no trouble. I can assure everyone that I won’t start it this week! Although I might have to finish it…
Anyway, I got my mark back on my English I.S.U - the one I worked ever so hard on making Karen do the title page ensuring that it was perfect. I got a 96% on it, which isn’t so bad. My mark is currently sitting at a 84% but will either go up or down after my teacher marks the comic assignment and such. I think I’ll be okay for History too, which is good. I remember Mr. S’s exams are always pretty damn easy, so I should have no problem with that especially if I study.
Mr. Redhead has yet to give me a mark update - but claims that I should be fine for the exam. He actually complimented me today on my English skills - apparently all the teachers talk about how great I am in English or something, because he was being all nice to me about it. I sincerely doubt I’m going to finish my math assignment before exams (I don’t see my dad having the time - especially this week - to take me to a home hardware store) so I really do hope that I am okay for the exam.
But yes, I should go finish my Math review. Mr. Redhead has allowed us to use as many sheets as we want for the cheat sheet, so score.
