Wonderland
July 13, 2006
Yesterday we went to Wonderland, and it rained pretty much all day. That was kind of a bonus because hardly anyone was there and we could get on the rides quickly without waiting in two hour long line ups. My cousin Rachel met up with us there, and we went on a couple of rides before deciding to take a bus to the mall to get out of the rain. Devon bought Sam and I new, warm sweaters cause we were soaked and we all bought CDs. By the time we were done with the mall, the rain had stopped and Rachel had to leave so we went back to Wonderland.
There was a lot of walking and at some points I wanted to throw myself on the ground and throw a tantrum. But I didn’t, I kept on trucking. My feet were sore and uncomfortable because my soaks were wet. I didn’t really enjoy some of the rides this year, maybe I’m getting too old for rollarcoasters. Or at least the ones that toss me around in my seat.
It was very awkward being there with Devon and with Sam. On the way there, Chelsee called out to Devon and told him to go out with me, right in front of Sam. And he kept putting his arms around me and stuff. We both don’t know how she really felt because Sam’s pretty good at not showing emotion…and she seemed pretty happy but I can’t be sure. She didn’t stab me with a knife or anything…so that has to count for something? I didn’t say anything to her, I didn’t know what to say because Devon and I aren’t going out…but we’re seeing each other? I dunno. I don’t think there was a need too, she seemed to already know. I guess it’s woman’s intitution.
The bus ride home was interesting, to say the least. I was really tired so I used Devon as a pillow. I made him listen to the new Pink CD I bought and to my new favourite song by her, Who Knew. Then my headphones blew so I couldn’t listen to my music.
