It’s Christmas Eve!!

I can’t believe that its actually Christmas eve - it just doesn’t feel like it. I guess because we got off school yesterday and today is the first offical day of holidays. Usually we have about a week before Christmas to wait and think about it.
I had to work today. Tammy the Bitch was manager, I’m not dumb I can totally tell that she doesn’t like me. She doesn’t exactly hide it either. At least I try to hide my dislike of her (and half my other managers and co-workers.) I made like not even two lists for Kiosk and she told Tyler (the guy bringing out what I needed) that if I wrote another list she’d “kick my butt” of course I took it seriously because of the way she acts around me. So about quarter to one I call over and ask Tammy to get the guy who takes over Kiosk at one to bring in a few donuts and what not so he has stuff to sell. She bitches at me saying why didn’t I write a list and when I told her about what Tyler she said “Obviously I was joking,” and I didn’t reply. I mean how am I supposed to know if she gives the message to someone else? So I had a shitty day at work. Craig said he’d take me to see Harry Potter, seeing as I’m mad at Devon. I said ok and he told me to call him - I won’t.
Just as we pulled in the driveway after work, Uncle Mark showed up with Lindsay’s baby, Nicholas. I was diaspointed that Lindsay wasn’t there…but at least I got to see Nicholas. He’s so cute and funny, and he liked me better lol. Really mature of me saying that, huh? But still… after taking bull from people at work it was nice to have a smile on my face when Nicholas came up to me and said “up” with a grin on his face. He’s fifteen months, and the complete opposite of Thomas, haha. It’s kinda funny how different babies can be. Nicholas has a very solemn look about him, and only smiles when Uncle Mark makes him laugh - I was able to get a few smiles out of him and when they were leaving he gave me a kiss on the cheek and then hide in Uncle Mark’s coat. It was so cute!
Now I’m relaxing in front of the computer, glad to be home and away from Tim Hortons! Mom always says that the reason we get part time jobs at places like that is so we know to work hard and get somewhere in life, which is a pretty good motto. I will not end up in that shithole for the rest of my life, if need be I’ll go into retail. Haha jokes people.
I still can’t believe it’s Christmas Eve! Why doesn’t it feel like it? Karen’s coming down on the 29th with Daren, Joel, Mel, Dylan and Thomas. I can’t wait to see them! I couldn’t get them anything this year because my paycheck wasn’t too giving towards my spending habits, I hope they’re happy with some home made?
So my plans for this holiday: go see Harry Potter 4. I was supposed to go with Devon, but I’m still mad at him so I’ll just go with Craig…if he isn’t busy. He already warned me that he’s usually busy (probably out selling stuff haha the guys I can get all have that in common.)
Well it’s off to bed for me, while visions of sugar plums dance in my head…wtf is a sugar plum anyway?
